Wedding, by definition simply means a marriage ceremony, esp. considered as including the associated celebrations. But everyone knows that it is much more than that.
It is the joining of two people, two lives, two families, two hearts, and two bodies. It is to join them and create one while still being two. It is one of the most beautiful celebrations to have. Not because you get to wear a beautiful white dress. Not because of flowers. Not because of cake and punch. Or any of what might seem to be a significant detail. It is the love and the commitment between two people that make the day what it is. Because in the end nothing else matters. Because the cake will get eaten. The flowers will die, and that place of celebration will forget about your special day and will later be occupied by someone else’s celebration.
Matt and Hayley’s day was no different. These two couldn’t be more in love and I couldn’t be more excited to share it with you.
